Rock Music Wednesday Through Sunday Nights 1958 Till 1979

The Summit Club in Peabody Mass. was the place to hang out back in the 1970's.
The most popular rock & roll bands from Boston and the North Shore area appeared on The Summit Club stage
even Areosmith (as The Interns).

Many of us were at The Summit Club every week
meeting friends and having a great time hanging out together and enjoying the bands and each others company.

There was the shuffleboard bowling machine inside and a lot of motorcycles outside.
The dance floor was always crowded and the lighting was just right.
Mike Parks was the manager, his brother Harry Parks was the Bouncer & Alice was the bar tender.
A few years later came Dale Thomas and his son Mark.
A couple of real cool promoters who brought The Summit Club to the next level.

Those were great days for all of us.
After all there's no better company than the people you grew up with.
But as time moves on so do people and it's hard to keep in touch with old friends who enjoyed those memories with you...
Well now you can re-live some of those great friendships and rock & roll memories.
